The apartment is a beautifully sun-drenched, spacious studio unit
in a historic building near Brown and Risd campus (about a 5-
minute walk to the Brown main green). The unit is located on Barnes
St, between Prospect and Brown Streets.

High ceilings and hard wood floors, bay windows.
The living area is fully separated from the large kitchen and there is a
separate walk-in closet as well. Coin-operated laundry is located in
the basement. The unit comes with an off-street parking lot.

The neighbourhoud is one of the quietest, greenest and safest on
College Hill with mostly faculty, professionals and some graduate
students living here.


I have been very happy with the management company. They are
easy to reach (phone or email) for any minor or major issues and
very responsive.


The building is heated through steam pipe heating and has been
cozy throughout this winter.
You can either take over my lease (ends May 31/2016) and
potentially renew it, or sign a new lease.


Available starting September 20 (this is flexible, I can leave earlier
if necessary).

The place is unfurnished, but I'm happy to sell some stuff that fits
well.

The management company has a few breed restrictions for dogs and there is a monthly pet fee. For a cat it is $20/month; dog is $25/month.

This house's address was listed as that of Dr. Marinus Bicknell
Willett in The Case of Charles Dexter Ward.
